Kasol: An Aesthetic
beauty An unusual happiness surrounded when finally arrived the much awaited
Innova. Lots of tussles, planning, patience and even more positivity! And after
all these, we finally left for the dream trip, trip to Kasol, Himachal Pradesh.
It was about 7 a.m. when a friend of mine forcibly woke me up. Overnight
journey and my incomplete sleep didn’t allow my eyes to open. I struggled to
see with my half opened eyes outside the window and suddenly my eye lashes
widened to their full capacity. I gasped! And just couldn’t shut my jaws. All I
could utter was “Wow!” It was more than beautiful. We had reached the paradise.
Air was never so fresh. It seemed as if nature welcomed us with open arms. I
was enthralled by that place. Soon we found an accommodation and were all set
to feel what we had never felt, to see that we had only imagined, to experience
what we never had done before! I stood calm in the serene Valley. In front of
me was the Parvati River flowing with full energy and not even the huge stones
could become a hurdle in its way. It washed away all that came in between.
Gurgles, Burbles and splash! Peace of mind was what I found listening to those
streams. As I walked to reach the water, I couldn’t believe that it was so
clear that pebbles beneath the flowing water were visible. Incredible it was! A
little ahead, I could see the huge green mountains standing tall without any
complaints of holding thousands of trees, animals and what not. I lifted my
head up to look at the top and there it was, the peaks covered with snow
touching the zenith. The clouds with silver lining danced around just to
compliment! I realized how small we are in front of nature. I was held
spellbound. As we walked down the street, I got a chance to talk to a lot of foreigners
there. I was amazed when an old man said he had been visiting Kasol since 1989,
a girl said she wanted to stay in India
forever; many said they love our culture and love our food more! The carefree
and happy crowd added to the beauty of the place. It was a 4 day trip and we
wished we could stay back. We wished to never take off our eyes away from the
aesthetic beauty of Kasol.
